Empowering ULAB: BdREN Offers Enhanced Services for Research and Education
On the morning of October 21st, BdREN and ULAB officials engaged in a productive online meeting to explore services aimed at bolstering ULAB's educational and research capabilities. The discussion flourished in a cordial atmosphere, with BdREN's engineers and management detailing the array of services available to universities and research institutions across Bangladesh, specifically geared towards enhancing ULAB's operations.
Khandakar Rashedul Arefin, Manager of Data Center at BdREN, presented a tailored service portfolio designed to meet ULAB's unique needs. Key BdREN personnel, including CEO Tawrit Mohammad and CTO Ekhlas Uddin Ahmed, were present, alongside other members of their team. ULAB was represented by Mr. Mirza Sadrul Alam, Director of Innovation and Technology, and Md. Arif Billah Al-Mamun, Senior Deputy Manager, among other officials.
During the meeting, ULAB expressed interest in initial services such as Connectivity, Internet Bandwidth, a WiFi-based Campus Network, and eduroam, all intended to enhance research and educational effectiveness. Both sides appointed contact persons to continue the discussions and foster a collaborative partnership moving forward.
