BdREN Concludes Internship Program Empowering Female Engineering Students under BeLISAC Project

Bangladesh Research and Education Network (BdREN) have wrapped up a transformative three-month internship program under the BeLISAC project. It is to be mentioned that the project was organized with a view to building of hardware infrastructure to achieve due resilience in conducting distance learning program and to addressing gender inequity in the South Asian region. 

The program provided invaluable opportunities to 5 (five) female students from various Engineering universities in Bangladesh fostering their technical growth and empowering them to become skillful professionals in the ICT domain. The internship culminated in a farewell ceremony, where the students shared their experiences and certificates were conferred. The farewell ceremony was graced by the presence of BdREN's CEO, who listened to the constructive feedback provided by the Interns and provided insightful advice to the interns for becoming better professionals.

Over the course of three months, these aspiring young engineers gained hands-on experience in their respective fields like; Networking and Transmission, Proxmox Virtualization Environment, Backup and Storage, Programming and etc. The internship exposed them to BdREN’s cutting-edge applications, Research & Development initiatives, and practical applications, propelling them towards successful careers path. The Interns were primarily guided by Jahidul Islam, a leading professional in the industry and Saima Faria, a true invention from BeLISAC project.

The program concluded on a high note with a grand luncheon hosted by the BeLISAC project, where the students were recognized for their dedication and achievements.
