BdREN Vice Chairperson’s Induction meeting with BdREN Team
In a latest development, Professor Dr. Muhammed Alamgir, a distinguished member of the University Grants Commission of Bangladesh, has been assigned with the responsibility of the Vice Chairperson of BdREN Trust. Following his assumption of the said responsibility, an introductory meeting was organized on July 6, 2023 at BdREN Video Conferencing Room, for Professor Dr. Alamgir to meet and address the BdREN team and also for the latter to greet this revered personality.
The meeting, attended by the high officials from the BdREN Trust, served as a platform for Professor Dr. Muhammed Alamgir to familiarize himself with the current activities and present status of BdREN. Once the introduction part was over, Mohammad Tawrit, the Chief Executive Officer of BdREN, delivered an insightful PowerPoint Presentation, providing an overview of BdREN's structure, services, financial status, goals and strategies. In the process, a detail SWOT analysis of BdREN was made which was placed before the audience.
While expressing his vision for BdREN, Dr. Alamgir shared his expectations and aspirations with the BdREN team. He emphasized the importance of dedication and urged the team to work tirelessly towards attaining the organization's goals.
BdREN, the only REN in Bangladesh, has been at the forefront in advancing research and education, through the provision of reliable and efficient network, services and applications, in the higher educational and research institutions across the country. The appointment of Professor Dr. Muhammed Alamgir as the Vice Chairperson of BdREN is portrayed as a significant step in further strengthening BdREN’s leadership and expertise.
